The course is suitable for students who have no knowledge of French. Those wishing to take this first step will be introduced to the basic rules of the French language, slowly and steadily building on their skills. The teaching material is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, including a wealth of additional audio and video material. The Écho system is designed for both young learners and adults, focusing mainly on everyday activities and situations. The programme is suitable for classroom work but also for home use.
After taking an Écho French course, you will be able to present yourself in company, express your tastes, describe a person, a place, a time; you will be able to share your hobbies, your preferred leisure activities, ask for an explanation of a problem, understand texts that unfold a context in a timeline. In the middle of your training, you will be able to handle basic travel situations, be able to deal with restaurants, hotels and other practical circumstances. At the end of your course, you will be able to list situations that have happened over a longer period of time, and you will be able to handle typical French greetings, well wishes, congratulations, apologies, and in general good manners familiar to this culture.

From the very first hour, the trainee gets into a social space where the main goal is to exchange experiences, skills, build projects.
